Join us for a two-day creative workshop at the Fake Food Workshop in Kirkcudbright. You’ll learn a range of techniques behind casting, painting, and assembling your own selection of classic faux breakfast favourites. Working in a relaxed, small group setting with expert guidance every step of the way, you’ll model forms in clay, cast in Jesmonite, add fine details using wax, and bring each piece to life with realistic paint and varnish finishes.
Over the two days, you’ll create a selection of four breakfast ingredients from our menu, choosing from sausages, fried eggs, mushrooms, tomatoes, and toast — all yours to take home once completed and carefully dried.
What’s included: a two-day hands-on course, small group tutoring (maximum 6 participants), all materials and tools provided, and your finished pieces carefully dried and posted to you after the workshop.
Lunch break is from 1:00–2:00 pm each day. Lunch is not provided, but there are lots of excellent local places nearby to grab something delicious.
Dates and times: 16th & 17th July 2025, 10:00 am – 4:00 pm each day.
Location: Fake Food Workshop, Riverside Mill, Kirkcudbright, DG6 4DP.
Price: £320 per person.
