What, Where, How

Guided by everyday meals, global cuisines, and historical banquets, our workshop's distinctive approach combines various sculpting methods and creative disciplines to replicate food. Through processes like weighing, mixing, layering, measuring, pouring, fluting, and glazing, we create a visual feast.

Materials, Method, Storage

Our fake food products are meticulously crafted using a comprehensive array of materials, carefully chosen to ensure both exceptional quality and environmental safety. At The Fake Food Workshop, we prioritize conservation-friendly options, employing an assortment of materials such as Jesmonite, a prestigious award-winning product, which serves as the primary foundation for many of our exquisite replicas.

Furthermore, our production involves the utilization of a spectrum of materials including resin, plaster, clays, hard/soft foams, and premium-grade silicone for crafting platinum molds directly from original foods. These molds allow us to capture stunning details once cast, ensuring an unparalleled level of realism. Additionally, we apply professional-grade paint and varnish to enhance the authenticity of our creations.

Importantly, our pieces are constructed with durability in mind; they are not disposable items but are crafted to endure. To promote sustainability, we recommend storing our fake food items in a dry and dust-free environment when not in active use, ensuring their longevity and preserving their impeccable quality.
