School Dinners at the Food Museum

From liver stew with baked potato and suet pudding to sponge cake with pink custard, turkey twizzlers and lentil dahl with flatbreads, this School Dinner project will have you reminiscing about the sights, smells and flavours of school dinners past.

All meals were sculpted using a combination of clays, Jesmonite, and resins, then meticulously hand-painted to capture the colours, textures, and serving styles of each decade.
