Food & Drink at Wimbledon

A Slice of History: Food & Drink at Wimbledon explored the fascinating relationship between food, drink and the Championships, tracing traditions from the tournament’s early days through to the present. For the exhibition, we created a selection of sculpted replicas celebrating some of Wimbledon’s most recognisable food traditions. 

The collection included London buns, cucumber sandwiches, cream cakes, scones, toast and, of course, strawberries — each handmade and carefully finished to capture the appearance and character of the original foods.
