A striking fluted faux red jelly set on a pale blancmange base and finished with a dollop of cream and a ripe (fake) strawberry. Inspired by the colourful table jellies of the Victorian era, this sculpted dessert captures the bold layers and dramatic presentation of historic moulded puddings.
Bands of bright orange and pale pink/lilac sit beneath a clear ruby jelly, creating the illusion of a perfectly layered blancmange dessert — without the wobble. The translucent red top shifts beautifully in different lighting, from glowing crimson in sunlight to deeper ruby tones in shade.
Each replica jelly is individually sculpted and layered in the Fake Food Workshop. Variations in colour, layering and ingredients ensure that no two pieces are exactly alike.
Perfect for collectors, display tables, shop windows, or anyone looking to introduce a confident burst of retro colour.
